METHANOL FUEL
METHANOL FUEL
- As a clean fuel with low emission, methanol itself has certain corrosives. The higher the temperature, the stronger the corrosives of fuel methanol get. Methanol nozzles that accurately control the amount of methanol emitting, are easily being corroded due to long-term exposure to high temperature, high pressure and corrosion, which results in loss of accuracy or methanol leakage. Methanol fuel will also cause great corrosion to the piston and cylinder wall of the engine during working.
- Arisimit® PVD and PECVD (DLC) coatings provide a thin, anti-corrosion film on the surface of engine components, which can effectively prevent the corrosion from methanol and other corrosive substances ,and thereby improve the stability and extend the service life of the engines.
- Arisimit® PVD and PECVD (DLC) coatings can also effectively reduce galling between pistons, crankshafts and other key parts.
- Arisimit® PVD and PECVD (DLC) coatings are able to be applied for engines' cooling system to improve heat dissipation and assure engines work stably at high temperature.
