HYDROGEN FUEL

As hydrogen fuel cell can transform energy at a higher level rate, and be fueled fastly, while added by its zero emission, it has become the strategic focus of new energy vehicle competitors.
As a key part of hydrogen fuel cells, the bipolar plates are withstanding the corrosion caused by acid, electric potential, humidity and heat from their work environment, which could lead to a contact resistance rise, a performance degradation, as well as a shorter service life or even a safety risk of fuel cells.
How to  reduce the cost of bipolar plates without lowering electricity conductivity and corrosion resistance is a key issue to be addressed.
Arisimit® PVD and PECVD (DLC) coatings are a variety of thin films deposited on bipolar plates without using precious metal, while provide electrical conductivity, outstanding power output and durability. The coatings have the potential to strengthen market competitiveness for the mass production of hydrogen fuel cells.
